Challenge

Securing the FIFA Fan Zone at Bayfront Park and surrounding airspace during World Cup 2026 events - integrating and optimizing MPD's own patrol drone fleet, broadcast and commercial drone activity, including manned and unmanned emergency aviation operating in the same environment, simultaneously.

Solution

OVERWATCH deployed with the Miami Police Department, alongside partners Noble IQ, DefenSync and Spherelink - providing unified airspace command across the event footprint, coordinating MPD's authorized Skydio drones for security and patrol, while giving ground units full aerial situational awareness directly on their hand-held devices.
