Challenge

Creating a scalable, national-level airspace governance framework that enables diverse commercial drone operations - urban logistics, medical delivery, public safety, while ensuring safe coexistence in high-density and complex environments shared with manned and unmanned aviation, civilian and restricted military airspace.

Solution

Airwayz serves as the primary Dynamic Airspace Governance platform for INDI, a multi-phase national consortium led by the Israel Innovation Authority, CAAI and Ayalon Highways. OVERWATCH provides the unified C2 backbone across multiple sites as a national testbed. Current focus (Phase 3): sensor fusion and spectrum intelligence, tactical safety barriers for manned aviation, and recreational aviation integration.
